Who we are

We are a network of Holotropic Breathwork® facilitators in North America who have been certified through Grof Transpersonal Training (GTT). GTT is the only organization that can certify Holotropic Breathwork® facilitators worldwide. Certifying practitioners on four continents, GTT was the first and is the most established contemporary program for training in expanded states of awareness.

Each facilitator in this network is passionate about Holotropic Breathwork® and works according to GTT standards and quality criteria (see: What we do), providing a safe set-and-setting and a supportive environment for participants of Holotropic Breathwork® workshops. 

The Association for Holotropic Breathwork® North America provides a forum for Holotropic Breathwork® practitioners to cooperate more closely in providing support for participants of Holotropic Breathwork® workshops, strengthening existing structures, fostering exchange and further learning, and providing accurate information about Holotropic Breathwork®.

Therefore, this website provides a platform for people who are interested in Holotropic Breathwork® to 1) find information on the practice; 2) connect with facilitators who share a vision and honor principles; 3) locate events in North America such as HB workshops, Grof Transpersonal Training modules, and occasionally other events such as lectures and conferences - see: Events.
