Thomas Francescott https://drfrancescott.com/
Tom Francescott, ND (module facilitator)

In 2004, Tom began his personal journey with Holotropic Breathwork after the loss of his sister. After having a “lifechanging” experience on the mat, he knew that Holotropic Breathwork was to play a pivotal role in his life and his private practice. In 2007 he became certified as a Holotropic Breathwork practitioner. Since then, Tom has helped facilitate many GTT modules, as well as certification. Independently, he loves to offer Holotropic Breathwork workshops, weaving mindfulness, cleansing, and shamanism. On a personal note, Tom and his husband enjoy living on the Hudson River in the Hudson Valley, where Tom was born and raised. In his free time, Tom loves traveling, shamanism, spiritual adventures, and swimming in the ocean. doctortomstonics.com

Janet Kingsley Janet Kingsley (administration) first visited the Holotropic Breathwork® mat in 2010. It was love at first journey and not quite one year later she was flying off to her first training module in Taos, NM. She embraces the Holotropic paradigm in her everyday life and takes her place on the mat often. Janet certified in 2017 and has apprenticed and facilitated many breathwork workshops. The Pacific Northwest is Janet’s adopted home turf. Born and raised in Minnesota, she moved herself and her daughter to Washington in 1994. In 2015 she began working with GTT as the registrar for modules and workshops and happily accepted the role of office manager in early 2020. Janet is embarking on a new adventure, building a community outreach ministry from the ground up. Gardening, cooking, reading, hiking, community and family are Janet’s deepest loves.

Kerry Marumoto
Kerry Marumoto (module facilitator) spent his career as a senior marketing executive in the ski, outdoor and action sports industries. Shortly after leaving his career, he experienced a series of spontaneous and profound spiritual openings while attending a weeklong retreat in the mountains of New Mexico. Several years later, in the depth of his own Spiritual Emergency, he remembered this previous experience and sought out breathwork as a lifeline and found profound resolution, eventually entering into a 2-year apprenticeship training.

In his passionate search for understanding the root nature of the transformational effects of breathwork, he discovered Stan Grof’s work and attended his first GTT modules in 2013. Feeling compelled to continue pursuing his own spiritual exploration, he completed the training and certified in 2015. Intrigued and ever curious about the nuance of the work, he continued apprenticing at the GTT modules and began facilitating on staff in 2018.

He lives in the ski resort of Sun Valley, ID and loves spending time in the natural world, kayaking wild rivers, exploring remote mountain peaks and backcountry skiing.

Cary Sparks http://www.holotropic.com/
Cary Sparks (director, teacher) co-directed Grof Transpersonal Training with her husband, Tav Sparks, until his death in August, 2020. Beginning about two years before Tav passed and following his retirement, Cary and a circle of advisors have shepherded GTT and Holotropic Breathwork® forward. When Covid-19 put a temporary hold on in-person Holotropic Breathwork®, they created a program of “Virtual Modules” that offer the didactic, experiential and community components of in-person modules until HB can be done safely again. They have also been inviting the community to Movie Yoga® Salons and other free events online. In 2022, in-person modules are taking place again, while the Virtual Module program will continue.

Cary began administrating the GTT, the only facilitator training program in Holotropic Breathwork®, in 1990, working at that time with Stanislav and Christina Grof. In 1998, the Grofs sold the training organization to Tav and Cary. Cary organized multiple large workshops, trainings, and other events – led by Stanislav Grof, Christina Grof, Tav Sparks, and others – for over 30 years.

Cary began facilitating seekers on their inner journeys in 1986. She was certified in Holotropic Breathwork® in 1988, and has worked as a facilitator, workshop leader, and at training events. In 2019, Cary certified as facilitator of a SoulCollage®, a practice for accessing one’s intuition and creating a unique deck of cards with deep personal meaning. Both practices have in common a profound respect for the healing impulse and empowerment of the individual.

Cary’s book Incensed: The Novel, is a humorous take on the world of transformational workshops (not breathwork!). In addition to writing, her passions are equestrian sports, rock music, nature, her family and cats Layla and Echo.
