Holotropic Breathwork and Nature Immersion Workshop: A Journey into Expanded States of Consciousness and Rewilding in Nature

.Located in the beautiful Catskill mountains, the Omega Institute campus offers a sprawling 250-acre wooded oasis. The lush surroundings and tranquil vibe create a safe space where exploring the mind, body, spirit connection and creative expression are core values.

Omega offers: • 3 delicious locally grown farm-to-table meals per day • Canoeing, kayaking, and row boating • Extensive gardens, nature trails, a beautiful lake • Access to the Ram Dass Library, Sanctuary, Omega Center for Sustainable Living (OCSL), and more.

This 5 day Holotropic Breathwork and Nature Immersion workshop includes 4 Holotropic Breathwork sessions (two as a breather/two as a sitter), sound bath, building art altars in nature, forest bathing and nature-based mindfulness practices.

In a safe and supportive space, surrounded by the beautiful Catskill mountains, Dr. Laurane McGlynn and Dr. Tom Francescott guide you in a group experience of diving deep within to reconnect to self, others, and nature for healing and wisdom. In this Double Breathwork workshop, each person will experience four Holotropic Breathwork® sessions (two as a breather/two as a sitter) along with ample time for integration in nature.

Drawing upon ancient healing and spiritual practices, as well as modern consciousness research, Laurane and Tom co-create a sacred space that offers an opportunity to experience the remarkable healing potential of Holotropic Breathwork (HB). This process combines accelerated breathing, evocative music sets and focused energy release work which activates the inner healing potential of the breather.

The safety and setting of the Holotropic breathwork session can allow people to move beyond the mind and ego and connect more safely into the body. Possible range of experiences that may emerge in a Holotropic breathwork session can include the perinatal, biographical, transpersonal, archetypal and birth. Breathers have reported experiencing a range of emotions, emotionally charged images, sense energy moving through the body, intuitive insights, and clarity about situation or issues in their lives.

The Holotropic perspective is permission giving. It encourages people to fully express and amplify, rather than inhibit, what they experience in their session. This approach offers the potential for deep self-exploration, personal transformation and healing. The Holotropic Breathwork model provides a setting that is safe and supported by highly trained and certified facilitators.

Whether you are new to HB, or highly experienced, this workshop can help you reconnect with your own inner healing wisdom on a journey into expanded states of consciousness and self-discovery.

This workshop is open to new breathers, experienced breathers, those in the GTT HB facilitator training or those interested in experiencing Holotropic Breathwork. For anyone in a psychedelic-assisted therapy training program, this workshop may fulfill your requirement for practical experience sitting for others in expanded states of consciousness.

We invite you to come and experience the power and healing potential of non-ordinary states of consciousness, community and nature.

Tom Francescott, ND (module facilitator)

In 2004, Tom began his personal journey with Holotropic Breathwork after the loss of his sister. After having a “lifechanging” experience on the mat, he knew that Holotropic Breathwork was to play a pivotal role in his life and his private practice. In 2007 he became certified as a Holotropic Breathwork practitioner. Since then, Tom has helped facilitate many GTT modules, as well as certification. Independently, he loves to offer Holotropic Breathwork workshops, weaving mindfulness, cleansing, and shamanism. On a personal note, Tom and his husband enjoy living on the Hudson River in the Hudson Valley, where Tom was born and raised. In his free time, Tom loves traveling, shamanism, spiritual adventures, and swimming in the ocean. doctortomstonics.com
