Holotropic Breathwork residential weekend retreat - Take a journey of self-discovery to explore the healing potential of Holotropic Breathwork and expanded states of consciousness

31 Mar 2023 / 17 Cricketown Rd, Stony Point USA, NY 10980 / Grof Transpersonal Training Workshop / 14 spots left

You are invited to join us for a weekend of community, connection, support and exploration into the inner world of expanded states of consciousness and Holotropic Breathwork in this special Holotropic Breathwork residential retreat in the heart of the beautiful Catskill Mountains in New York State.

.The Holotropic perspective is permission giving. It encourages people to fully express and amplify, rather than inhibit, what they experience in their session. This approach offers the potential for deep self-exploration, personal transformation and healing. The Holotropic Breathwork model provides a setting that is safe and supported by highly trained and certified facilitators. Holotropic Breathwork is a process of self inquiry with compassion and curiosity. HB offers a safe space and the support to discover a path to move toward wholeness.

Holotropic Breathwork is a powerful experiential breathwork process that allows for deep exploration and healing. With eyes closed and laying on a mat, each person uses their own breath and the music in the room to enter and expanded state of consciousness. This state activates the nature inner healing potential of the breather, or "inner healer", which guides the process.

In this residential workshop, each person will experience two Holotropic Breathwork sessions (one as a breather/one as a sitter). The workshop cost incudes two nights housing, 6 buffet-style meals, a talk on the theory and practice of Holotropic Breathwork, creating nature art altars, healing sound journey, evening community fire gathering, support, connection and community.

This workshop is open to new breathers, experienced breathers, those in the GTT Holotropic facilitator training or those interested in experiencing Holotropic Breathwork. For anyone in a psychedelic-assisted therapy training program, these workshops may fulfill your requirement for practical experience sitting for others in expanded states of consciousness.

In 2004, Tom began his personal journey with Holotropic Breathwork after the loss of his sister. After having a “lifechanging” experience on the mat, he knew that Holotropic Breathwork was to play a pivotal role in his life and his private practice. In 2007 he became certified as a Holotropic Breathwork practitioner. Since then, Tom has helped facilitate many GTT modules, as well as certification.
