John Stockberger is a professional musician, certified Holotropic Breathwork® facilitator, certified kundalini yoga and meditation teacher and has a healing practice. He has studied with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Qigong, Taiji, Vipassana, Buddha Dharma and traditional Shipibo Conibo healing in the Peruvian rainforest. He teaches and facilitates yoga and breathwork retreats and workshops in the U.S. and abroad.
Transforming Trauma - Healing Our Deepest Wounds - A Holotropic Breathwork Special Event
The Forest Refuge Retreat is a four day intensive residential retreat that integrates Holotropic Breathwork, mindfulness, sound healing and nature-based practices to work with the physical, emotional, relational and spiritual aspects of the human experience. The Retreat is suitable for a wide range of issues including chronic medical issues, cancer, chronic pain, relationship issues, professional or personal burnout, feeling stuck or trapped, loss of meaning and purpose, significant life transitions, grief and loss, depression and anxiety. We access and utilize both conscious and unconscious paths of exploration and self-discovery to support people in moving toward health and healing. Some of the processes offered at the Forest Refuge Retreat include interactive lectures, 4 Holotropic Breathwork sessions, sharing circles, reconnecting with the healing potential of nature, therapeutic writing, group processes, focused release work and artistic expression.
